These are so soft and have a stone washed feel.It was difficult to tell by the description or picture but This is a single layer towel. I have had several others they were double layered and were more absorbent but this has a textured to one side at least giving a little rougher side which I like a lot.Would recommendIt’s a great beach towel, not a great bating towel. What bothers me is it NOT black.I recommend them for decorative purposes only. After washing my hands and drying them with this towel, my hands are still completely wet. Also the towels I received were not black like I wanted, but more of a dark charcoal greyI originally bought these towel in black and loved them so much that I purchased more in black and mint green. They are the softest of all of the turkish towels I own and my favorite. I do wish this style was bigger, like the other brands I have that are 40 x 70,but that wouldn't prevent me from buying more. The black is more of a faded or vintage black, while the mint green is more vibrant - both beautiful.Ordered the black one thinking it would fit perfect in my new bathroom. Received a gray one instead, and assuming it was a glitch...I returned it and ordered another black one. Same color came...I now realize their black means grey. There is no mixing up the two.Very soft. It was a little smaller than some other Bersuse towels I have, but I still love it.The color holds up well after washing. It is somewhat narrower than other Turkish towels that I own, but it’s not a problem. It is ,however much thinner than I expected.See attached photo. Not sure if whoever is in charge of color swatches or packaging might be color blind, but this is 100% not at all black. Also, the fabric is about as thin as your grandmother’s oldest dish towel that she refuses to throw out. This won’t dry a single one of my tears from being so mislead by other reviews, let alone an entirely wet person.I don't normally leave bad reviews; I try to find something positive. If I could leave zero stars I would.This stock must be a very old batch. They are not black as pictured, they are not new. The dust just flies out of them. They have obviously been sitting in the sun somewhere because they are fading on the edges. Very disappointing. Where is the quality control?I didn’t know if my expectations were too high and that is why it took me so long to post, but having bought other Turkish fouta now I know it is just low quality. The Color is not great, it’s like a black turned wrong, it’s not soft, and if you want the measurements you have to stretch the towel heavily - but who does that?Very minimalist looking and gorgeous. I left them TWISTED all night in the dryer and they came out with ZERO WRINKLES. They're stonewashed so expect them to look pre-distressed. Souvh better than the other highly rated towels I bought on here that were supposed to be similar.Es bueno y bonito. Contenta con la compra. Volvi a comprarlo en otro color , muy bonito tambien, pero menos versatil.Di eccellente qualità, peccato che il nero dal vivo sia più un grigio scuro.
