I am remodeling an old house built in 1888, and I wanted to keep the look of class that I think it originally had. I have some of the original hardware from when it was built, and it is very elegant, so I wanted the bath accessories to have that same feel.I looked at all Amazon had to offer, and these really caught my eye, and I had to have them. I LOVE the design on these!! They are very elegant and feel classy. They are solid enough for me. I think they would be fine for anyone, if installed properly.As my decor is oil rubbed bronze with wear spots rubbed into it, I actually painted these with oil rubbed bronze paint and then sanded areas of it so the gold color of the metal shows through, and then applied a clear matte sealer, and it looks fabulous.One note. The 24 inch towel bars are measured from tip to tip. When I took my old towel bars out, I had hoped that I could reuse the same anchor holes, but the towel bar included with this set was a few inches shorter. I honestly can't remember if my old towel bar was supposed to be considered 24" or not. I suspect it was, so just be aware that these may be shorter that what you may be replacing.
