I don't play golf often at all, because I am terrible - think every stereotype of the southern wife with coiffed hair and pretty new golf shoes that match her pretty new golf sweater borrowing some clubs, driving the cart once a year. Yeah, that's me. I learned enough about the game to keep my husband company on the rare charity couples game. I thought this set would be a nice addition to his golf stuff.I went out the other day with some friends who actually play regularly and I shot 7 holes with them - I had to leave early because....Shame. What I learned was that the small towel in this set is good for cleaning your putter off after you've essentially dug oil with it in the sand three inches off the actual green. The big, tri-fold towel looks rough, but does a fine job wiping sweat off your brow and muffling the curse words when you hit the fourth ball in a row into the woods, never to be seen again. (If only the balls were tethered by grommets) The fork style divot damage repair tool worked ok for me after I was shown how to use it properly - turns out you need to push down and then gently push the soil/turf in toward the damage. Never lift up because that breaks the roots. This isn't a high end, super fancy set, but I like that it isn't covered in logos. This is a three-piece set of two towels and one divot tool. The towels are made of “waffle weaver” microfiber. Though I like how microfiber works, I’ve never really liked the feel of microfiber, which is still the case here. It has kind of a “scratchy” feel to me. Though I must say that I’m one of the few people I know who feel that way.The towels are nice sizes with one being 16X24” and the other 12X12”. The same company offers the 16X24” towel by itself, but at the current price, it’s worth it to go with this set. . . though I think this set is a bit prices for what it is as well. The microfiber on both of the towels is quite scratchy (not soft at all). While this is good for cleaning dirt off of balls or club heads, it's not that great if you just want to dry off your hands. On the plus side, all the pieces are understated, rather than having some gaudy logo on them. The divot repair tool is made of stamped aluminum, and the pointed ends are quite thick, unlike most similar tools. The ball marker is steel and fits in a cavity with a magnet on the divot repair tool. To remove the marker, push in on the lower end of it and the opposite end tips up away from the magnet. The three main pieces have clips to hang on a golf bag loop. This set is quite utilitarian, functional but nothing special.I’m used to microfiber being somewhat soft to very soft. Maybe there have always been rough microfiber towels and things but this is my first experience with such. I guess if I left my clubs and golf balls to dry for a few weeks or month after getting very muddy they would need something this rough along with some water to get them clean. And, I use a towel (one) on the course for my clubs, golf balls, hands and face. I’m not interested in specific use rough towels. The divot tool and magnetic ball marker are OK, I guess. The ball marker is a little disk that slides off of the tool. The tool is quite thick (read as “too” thick) and for some unknown reason one end has a carabiner for clipping to, uh, something I guess. Golf bag? Nope, it isn’t on the green where this will be used. Key ring? Don’t carry mine on the green. Belt loop? I’m not going to clip and unclip this from a belt loop each time I want to use it and have it flopping around the rest of the time. Put a screw-eye on the end of the putter? Riiiight. In the end it is too long to carry comfortably in a pocket for a round of golf and the carabiner is just silly. Then there is the “Tri-fold” larger of the two towels that doesn’t really unfold. The bottom unfolds and the top has a grommet with all three sections permanently (until I take it to my shop) attached to one another. Have I seen such before? Yes, and they are nowhere near as useful as a towel with a grommet in one corner. But, given the roughness it doesn’t make much difference. Each of the two towels has a carabiner so they can be hooked to perhaps (I’m not going to assume anything here) the golf bag. This goes in the category of what a non-golfer would buy for a golfer for an “it’s the thought that counts” type of gift. Give this a pass. The first test was cleaning sweat off my sun glasses. The weave was perfect for the purpose. There's a hand towel and a whole head size towel. Towels are mostly towels but the micro-blend is superior to slower dry cotton. No es de gran calidad, además me lo enviaron incompletoEl producto cumple a lo descrito. Muy bueno.
