Not super absorbent but they work great for drying your hands. I wouldn’t use them to wipe up messes. I hang mine on the stove and they looks super cute with a rug I bought on Amazon!They work so goodThe only thing I am disappointed in is the color. The website says dark green but they are definitely more of a teal color. Way more blue than green. But they seem to absorb well and are holding up so farEasy to wash and good fabricAfter you wash them they dont look goodThey smear the water around and eventually absorb. I don't plan to buy them again. I got them for dish drying and they don't absorb.I ended up buying the All-Clad two sided terry cloth towels for display purposes and use as my main hand and dish drying cloth. And I use Swedish style counter top rags for wiping the counters. These are well priced as a neutral colored backup for both of these and general multipurpose towel.I really liked these dish towels. The colors are beautiful. They are absorbent and wash up nicely.I didn't expect the rough texture of this material. Too bad. Now I just use them for hot pots or pans.
